Multi-source import
Your expenses already exist somewhere.
Import them, wherever they come from.
WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, a spreadsheet, a bank statement, Splitwise or Tricount: Co-Kids pulls in the history and turns it into clear accounts — without retyping a single line, 100% on your device, with no artificial intelligence whatsoever.
What Co-Kids can read
Six ways to import, one single result
Each source matches exactly one option on the app's “Import” screen — nothing more than what the app actually does today.
Export the chat (“Without media”). Co-Kids reads the _chat.txt file and extracts every expense from it.
Telegram
JSON or HTML export from Telegram Desktop. Both formats are recognized, each message linked to its author.
Paste a conversation
Messenger, Viber, SMS, iMessage… Paste the conversation: the main formats are recognized, and an editable assisted mode lets you fix things by hand.
Excel & CSV
Bank statements, .xlsx/.ods workbooks, Google Sheets and Numbers (via export). The wizard maps your columns and remembers your settings.
Splitwise
Export your expenses: Co-Kids recognizes the file structure and works out who paid.
Tricount
Your shared history comes over in a single import.
Another app? Almost all of them export to CSV or Excel — if it exports, it imports.
What sets us apart
Import without fear of breaking everything
Never a duplicate
Re-import the same month as many times as you like: an expense that's already known is never added twice.
Undo by batch
Every import is kept in a history. An import gone wrong? Undo it in one move, without touching the rest.
Cross-source duplicates flagged
The same expense on WhatsApp and in a statement? Co-Kids spots it and flags it for you before adding it.
100% local, no AI
Everything happens on your device. No data sent over the internet, no artificial intelligence: clear, verifiable rules.
